District BJP condemn case of kidnap and blackmail of students at Derlakatte

Mangalore, Dec 30, 2013: The District BJP staged a protest in front of DC Office on Dec 30, Monday condemning the case of kidnap and blackmail of two medical students at Derlakatte recently.

Addressing the protestors, BJP City Unit president Srikar Prabhu said that the congress government who imposed goonda act on Hindu activities working to safeguard the hindu culture has not taken any action against the culprits who have been involved in such shameful act.

 

He also said that few commissions, which arrived city during the Home stay attack and Pub attack are now silent and not raising any voice against the incident, when the gang has taken advantage of an innocent girl.

The government which is trying to divide the society through the ‘shadi bhagya’ scheme is now silent in such incident just to appease the minorities. This shows inefficiency of the congress government.He even said the police department too had failed in discharging its duties in this regard.

He also urged the government to direct the officials to take stringent action against the perpetrators of the incident immediately.

MLC Monappa Bhandary, former MLA N Yogesh Bhat, Ravishankar Mijar, Capt Brijesh and others were present.
