Mangaluru, Mar 03, 2023: Pandeshwar Police Station head constable Srilatha has been suspended  from service by the City Police Commissioner for dereliction of duty.

It is said that Srilatha who was on official duty on a Hoysala Patrol vehicle near the Clock Tower  was seen in a private vehicle during duty hours in contrary to the departmental rules.

The action follwed a complaint received by the City Police Commissioner. She has been suspended with effect from February 28 pending inquiry.
