Belthangady: Bishop inaugurates St Antony Shrine at Naravi Church

Belthangady, Jan 23, 2014: Mangalore Bishop Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza inaugurated the newly constructed St Antony Shrine at Naravi Church in Belthangady taluk on January 22, Wednesday. The inaugural was held to coincide with the annual feast of the church.

The Bishop also presided over a Festal mass held on the occasion. Several priests took part. A beautiful choir was also presented.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Fr Louis Cutinha, Parish Priest of the Church,Fr Arun Wilson Lobo, Principal of St Antony College  and others were present.

On this occasion, Fr Cutinha presented a cheque of Rs one lakh to Bishop Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza on behalf of Naravi Parishioners towards the Africa Mission.

Nine days of Novena was also held prior to the feast as a spiritual preparation.
