Bantwal : Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat once again booked for provocative speech

Bantwal, Feb 22, 2014 : Senior RSS leader Dr Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat has once again be booked for delivering a ‘communally provocative’ speech. This time the complaint  has been lodged  in Vittal by Abdulla Nadaje from Manchi in Kolnad village.

It may be recalled here that some time back, he was booked under similar charges for  derogatory speech during Hindu Sangama at Gurupur.

Vittal police have now registered a case against Dr Bhat under IPC Sections 153A and 295. The complainant Abdulla has alleged that Dr Bhat who spoke at the Hindu Shakti Sangama at Salettur on February 16, had made derogatory references to Quran and Bible and had even  questioned as to “How can Quran and Bible which preach to slay others can be considered holy.”

 The event was organised by the Hindu Hitharakshana Samithi in connection with the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

Abdulla also alleged that Bhat in his speech had said “ Hinduism was the only acceptable religion in India.” He further said  Dr Bhat also tried to insult the Muslim community by referring to them as Bearys in an unwelcome manner.
