Mangaore, June 4, 2014: Akhila Karnataka Catholic Christhara Kannada Sangha has urged the Chief Minister to hand over Fr K J Thomas murder case to the CBI.   At a meeting with media persons here in Mangalore on June 3,  Rafael Raj  Sangha General Secretary, alleged that highest ranking clergy and Church Estate Committee President Ronald D’Souza are involved in the murder of   Malleshwarm, Bangalore  St Peter Seminary Rector Fr K J Thomas, who was brutally murdered on March 31, last year.

Rafael Raj alleged  that in the week following the of the murder of Fr K J Thomas, several suspicious financial dealings took place within St Peter’s Seminary premises, these must be investigated thoroughly so that the real facts will be laid bare. He meanwhile urged for the land survey of St Peter’s Seminary and the investigations of personal accounts of Archbishop Rev.Bernard Moras, Rev.Ronald D’Souza, members of Estate committee and various office bearers belonging to St Peter’s Seminary.

Rafael Raj  was adamant that the arrest of innocent people Fr William Patrick, Fr Elias and Peter  was a blatant cover up and demanded  authorities concerned to release them and institute a full fledged CBI probe at the very earliest.
