When Sachin Tendulkar missed a bus, asked for lift

New Delhi: July 12, 2015: Cricket maestro, Sachin Tendulkar took everyone by surprise on Saturday when he asked for a lift after missing his bus. It was neither a master stroke by the cricket legend nor a prank. Tendulkar, who is in England these days, missed the last bus at Great Haseley Oxfordshire and asked for a drop from his Twitter followers.

 

“In Great Haseley Oxfordshire. Missed the last bus, can anyone give me a lift??," Tendulkar tweeted along with a his picture on Instagram at the bus stop.

After this Tweet, Tendulkar received many responses, which he must have expected. Few of the interesting Tweets were: “even God misses a bus.” Another one wrote “unlucky bus driver.” In fact, one of his fan even tried to help Tendulkar by writing “Just seen the post. I can come down in 1 hr! :)”

On Friday, Tendulkar was seen watching Wimbledon men’s singles semi-final match between Roger Federer and Andy Murray from the stands along side his wife Anjali, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma.
