The incident came to light after a lady posted the details of the episode on Facebook.

The lady along with her friends had gone to the particular McDonalds outlet to buy themselves coke floats. When they came out a street kid started begging for a coke. The lady then decided the boy to buy him a Fanta float and took him inside.

However, when she was standing along with him in the queue, a McDonalds staff came and pushed the boy out of the premises.

The lady intervened and told the worker that the boy was with her, but he didn’t relent saying that such kind of people are not allowed inside McDonalds.

The lady, however, bought the boy a Fanta float.

The Mcdonalds has received huge flak for the incident.

Reacting to the incident, McDonalds India has assured a fair probe into the incident. The organisation has said it will examine the employees and if in any manner they are found to have breached basic courtesy and respect, appropriate action would be taken against the guilty.

“We wish to affirm that we treasure and respect everyone in equal measure and do not support any form of discrimination,” Mcdonalds India has said.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also said that he will look into the matter and take appropriate action.
