Peshawar, Pakistan, Mar 16, 2016: At least 16 people were killed and 24 others injured when a bomb exploded on a bus carrying government employees in Peshawar, northwestern Pakistan, on Wednesday.
The explosion took place in Saddar, a busy shopping district, as the bus was picking up government workers to take them to their offices, they said.
"It’s premature to comment about the nature of the blast but it appears that explosives were planted inside the bus," senior police official Mohammad Kashif said. "There were 40-50 people on the bus."
