Madhya Pradesh Governor’s son, accused in MPPEB scam, dies

Lucknow/Bhopal, Mar 25, 2015:  Shailesh Yadav, the son of Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav, on Wednesday died in Lucknow after suffering a brain haemorrhage.

 

Meanwhile, Ram Naresh Yadav, who is reportedly unwell, has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital in Bhopal. 

According to initial reports, Shailesh was found dead on the floor of his room in the Uttar Pradesh capital. His last rites will be performed in Lucknow.

However, no official statement from the Madhya Pradesh government has been issued in this regard so far.

More details are awaited.

Notably, Shailesh was named in the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) or Vyapam scam.

Last month, a Special Task Force (STF) registered an FIR against Governor Ram Naresh Yadav and 100 others in the scam.

The government has told the high court that till now, 539 people have been arrested and 218 are absconding in the scam.
