Girl kidnapped in broad daylight from outside college in Gurgaon

Gurgaon, Dec 28, 2015: In a shocking incident, a girl was kidnapped outside her college in Gurgaon on Monday morning. The incident was captured in a CCTV camera which showed a white car without the number plate used in the abduction.

According to an eye-witness, there were two people in the car and one of them forcefully pulled the girl inside. The girl tried to escape but was overpowered by assailants.

A couple of men are also seen running after the car to try and stop the kidnappers but the vehicle managed to flee.

Gurgaon ACP Anil Kumar said a manhunt was launched soon after the first call came in. "We have launched an FIR and are trying to locate the car as well as the men. An ACP rank officer is personally supervising the incident. We will also examine the CCTV video," ACP Anil Kumar said.

"The police is in touch with the parents of the victim. However, we are not yet sure about the identity of the kidnapped girl or assailants. Also, we have not received any formal kidnapping complaints so far," the ACP said. Girl kidnapped in broad daylight from outside college in Gurgaon
