Mangaluru artists showcase unique art exhibition on Tulu folk Culture in Mumbai

Mumbai, Feb 3, 2015: Art Kanara, a unique art exhibition by a select group of artists from Mangaluru is being organized at Mumbai under the auspices of Karnataka Lalith Kala Academy from February 2 to 5 in order to popularize the art and artists of coastal Karnataka.

The exhibition was inaugurated by veteran artist Prithvi Soni at ’Artists’ Centre’, K. Dubas Marg, Kala Ghoda Ador House, Mumbai on Monday, February 2.

The exhibition will remain open till 5th Feb, 2015. Artists incluing Harish Kodialbail, Harish Marne, Rajendra Kedige and Santhosh Andrade showcased their paintings especially depicting the folk culture of Tulunadu.

Artist and Actress Rashmi Pitre, Special Public Prosecutor Rohini Salian, artists Madhusudan Kumar, Vivek Das, Anand Prabhu Desai and Pramila Salian graced the show along with gallerist Sunil Chauhan.
