Rolls Royce is considered to be one of the most expensive cars in world and it stands as a synonym to class, royalty, pride, status and elegance, thus making its owner different from the rest.

But when it comes to owning a Rolls Royce, it’s not just the price which marks the importance. There are lots many criteria that have to be taken count of. Interestingly, this car is mostly owned by businessmen and industrialists. And in India, excluding few maharajas, the notable celebs who own Rolls Royce are Sanjay Dutt who gifted his wife Manyata a ’Rolls Royce Ghost’ and Vidhu Vinod Chopra who gifted Amitabh Bachchan with ’Rolls Royce Phantom’. Quite an expensive token of love!

You must be wondering as to why we are studying about Rolls Royce today. Well, the reason behind this detailed thesis is none other than the bold beauty of town Mallika Sherawat, who had lately expressed the desire of owning this car and had even tried to book one.

But to her surprise her request was turned down. Reason? If you are thinking that it was due to money then please don’t underestimate Mallika. The lady is fully capable of owning one as far as the money is concerned but the fact is far beyond this. As per the cited reasons, “The car is not sold just to those who wish to buy it. There is a process where it is decided if the person wishing to buy it is fit enough to be its owner or not and money is not just the criteria. The person’s entire profile, social standing for the past few years is put under scanner and then decided. Even test drives are given to selected people. Mallika apparently tried to convince the brand by saying she is a Hollywood actor but things didn’t work out in her favor".

Guess the lady is not just worth it as of now. Let’s see if she will ever make to the elite list!
