Udupi artists raise funds for blind man

Udupi, Dec 21: The Artist Court of Udupi raised funds by selling works of art produced by its members and donated the money to Appu Achar, a blind man who ekes out a living by repairing cycles. 

This rare humanitarian programme was inaugurated by Pramod Madhwaraj, an entrepreneur based in Udupi. Dinesh Putran, the owner of Putran Gas Agency, was the chief guest. K L Bhat and many other artists participated in the programme.
