SBI Loan Utsav inaugurated today

Mangalore, Feb 6: State Bank of India is organizing a 2-day Loan Utsav at Hotel Woodlands, Mangalore. District-in-charge Minister Krishna J Palemar inaugurated the event and said that SBI, which has 16,000 branches all over the world, is so widely acclaimed that it doesn’t need any introduction.

SBI is the leading bank in the world because of its efficiency and loan recovery, especially during the recession, he said. Pointing out the requirements of many people for small loans, he said that the bank must take the initiative in helping such people and giving them the required services.

Raghu Shetty, assistant general manager of SBI; Sathya Moorthy, the regional manager; and Ganesh Bhat, assistant general manager, were the dignitaries on the dais.

People can visit the Loan Utsav till the evening of Sunday. Given that customers produce the required documents, loans will be sanctioned on the spot.
