Legal Awareness Campaign flagged off

Mangalore, Feb 16: To create legal awareness among the people of Mangalore Taluk, ‘An Adalat van’, a legal awareness and mobile people court campaign, has been flagged off by H D Deshpande, the Principal District and Sessions Court Judge, at the premises of District court on February 16

After inaugurating the event, Deshpande said that the legal awareness is the major goal of this campaign. The campaign will have many series of programme, related to legal, which will be conducted in the different parts of Mangalore Taluk. The campaign will be concluded on February 18.

District Commissioner Mr. V. Ponnuraj, president of Mangalore Bar Association Mr. P. Changappa and many other were took part in the inauguration ceremony.

The campaign is organized by Dakshina Kannada Legal Service Authority along with other departments including District Administration, District Police Department, Bar Association, Department of District Education, Department of Women and Children Development, and People Education Trust of Mangalore.
