2 drown at Adam Kudru

Mangalore, Feb 9: Anil and Suresh, both aged 35, died of drowning in the backwaters of Adam Kudru in Mangalore on Monday evening. 

Police sources inform that another man called Prakash was rescued by the local people and admitted to a hospital near Ullal. The doctors have now declared that he is out of danger. 

The Ullal police have registered a case, according to which, the three men fell into the water when they were attempting to get off a boat to visit an island on which they intended to spend the night. Instead, two of them drowned and one was rescued by the local people. 

The bodies of Anil and Suresh were recovered from the water and rushed to the hospital, but the hospital authorities said that they were already dead. 

Currently, the Ullal police are investigating the case.
