Billava Association of Khadivili celebrates 8th annual day

Mumbai, Apr 26: The Billavara Association of Khandivili organized the Billava Fashion Show 2010 and Adarsha Dampathi 2010 as part of its 8th annual day celebrations. Neha Salian and Hiraj V Kotian received the titles of Miss Billava and Mr. Billava in the fashion show; and Shankar Poojary and Shobha were chosen as the ideal couple.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Vice President of Billavara Association L V Amin presided over the event, which was organized at the Shri Narayana Guru Sabhagruha of Billava Bhavan at Santa Cruz (East) on April 25, Sunday. The achievers of the Billava community were felicitated. Prominent members of the community such as Leelavathi Jaya Suvarna, Keshava Poojary of Sony Transport Services, Chief Manager of Janakalyan Sahakari Bank N G Poojary, Bhasket T Bangera, and R D Poojary were among those who were felicitated. 

Leelavathi Suvarna released the souvenir, “Amar Bolli,” of the Khandivili branch of the Billavara Association. Raghu L Shetty, hotelier and managing trustee of Shri Kaveshwara Temple, was the chief guest of the event. Ganesh Bangera of J B Builders, Indukumar Amin of Kenstro – A Builders and Developers, and K Sadashiva Shanti, the famous priest, were among the guests of honor.
