Udupi, June 2, 2014: Admar Math, one of the Ashta Maths of the temple town of Udupi, has appointed a young engineer as a successor of the Math. He will be officially declared successor to the Math on June 19 after rituals regarding the handing over of charge which will commence at Kunjarugiri Durga Temple form June 16.
Sri Vishwa Priya Theertha Swamiji of Admar Mutt chose to have a qualified person as his successor from the point of view of the efficient administration of the Mutt which also runs several educational institutions through the Admar Math Trust.
The 29year old engineer is Shreesha of Shiroor in Hiriadka. He is a B.E. Mechanical Engineering graduate and son of Chandraskehar and Gowri.
After his schooling and PU education at Tirthahalli where Chandrashekhar runs a hotel, Shreesha did his BE from Jawaharlal College of Engineering, Shimoga in 2006. He is the youngest among the four children of Chandrashekhar and Gowri couple and has completed courses in religious rituals and epics under scholar Padubidri Lakshminarayana Sharma. As of now he is studying Vishnu Tathwa Nirnaya from Ganapathi Acharya at Udupi Admar Math.
Shreesha says he had a great interest towards spirituality since childhood and adds he will live up to the expectations and discharge the responsibilities to be shouldered on him with faith and trust.
Even Sri Vishwa Priya Theertha Swamiji of Admar Mutt is optimistic and says he was sure that Shreesha will be able to manage the Math efficiently.
