Businessman succumbs to cardiac arrest while travelling in bus

Kundapur, May 02, 2024: An entrepreneur and social worker died of cardiac arrest while travelling in a bus from Pune to Kundapur on May 1 morning.

The deceased is Prashanth Shetty (50) of Ullur near Siddapur. As the bus reached Honnavar, Prashanth complained of acute chest pain following which he was admitted to a nearby government hospital where he passed away. He is survived by his wife and daughter.

Prashanth owned a hotel in Pune and had also set up Babas Kitchen. He had also constructed Shyamala Palace Wedding Hall and a lodge in Siddapur. He was an office bearer of Mumbai Buntara Sangha.
