Mangalore, May 24, 2014: In separate incidents on Friday two young lives were sadly lost according to police. Nithin Achar (27) riding a two wheeler was killed when the bike in which he was riding near Assaigoli. he is the son of late Sridhar Achar, resident of Capitanio and employed as a technician with Blue Star AC.
He was on the way to Infosys campus to take attend a fault when the accident occurred. Observers say he tried to avoid a dog and lost control over his two-wheeler and fell causing grievous injury and was said to have died on the spot. It is said, Nithin’s sister’s marriage was scheduled to take place soon. It is a matter of untold grief to all concerned, and accidents have to be controlled at all costs.
In another road accident, a lorry driver was killed when two lorries collided head on, at Arla near Nellyadi on NH 48 - Mangalore to Bangalore.
The deceased has been identified as Vijayakumar Jain (27), son of Bojaraja Jain, a resident of Keruvase in Karkala. The impact of collision was severe it is mentioned. Speed and negligence are the main causes of road accidents.
