Mangaluru, Jan 07, 2019: The two day nation-wide strike call given by trade unions on January 8 and 9 is expected to hit normal life in the coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.
Autorickshaw Drivers Unions too have supported the strike call. Even KSRTC buses are likely to be off roads. With Unemployed labourers organisation also supporting the bundh call, there is a possibility of private buses too remaining off road. However the Bus Operators’ Association is yet take a decision.
Members of Communist Party of India, CPM, Motor Transport and Engineering Workers’ Union, Raitha Sangha, Janavadi Mahila Sanghatane and other organisations have supported the strike call.
