Talks/action to revisit vital issues - Shobha

Udupi, June 20, 2014: According to reliable reports, speaking at a felicitation ceremony organised by the district BJP unit, Udupi-Chikmagalur MP Shobha Karandlaje said  that talks would be held with the minister concerned over revisiting Rangan and Gadgil reports.

The issue over the proposal of banning arecanut should also be taken with the reapective Union minister, the railway issues will also be discussed with the Union Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda. “The BJP government at center has a major responsibility of setting right the lapses committed by UPA government in country’s economic and security scenario,” Karandlaje said.

NH widening :  Shobha maintained that she had discussion with national highway authorities in connection with the delayed work of the widening process of NH stretching from Udupi to Kundapur. She assured that a delegation of fishermen will be taken to Delhi to meet the union port minister to discus the problems encountered by the fishermen.  She called upon the party workers to work hard to bring back BJP rule in State, for the better development perspectives, following uniform government both in center and state
