Suspicious death of 30 year old man; cops begin probe

Bantwal, Mar 20, 2024: Police have begun investigations into the suspicious death of 30 year old Lohitashwa from Manjotti in Nada village based on a complaint by his family members.

 

Lohitashwa who had been to the banks of the river Netravathi in Shambhur on March 18 along with four friends was found dead in the river. His body was fully dressed and even his watch was also on his wrist when his body was traced. This has given room for suspicion that he might not have drowned while taking bath.

Earlier it was stated that Lohitashwa who was with his friends in the river bank had returned to the car. However when his friends returned he was not to be seen and was later found dead. This had given rise to more doubts.
