Sullia, Jan 20, 2014:  A youth hailing from Ajjavara lost his life while two others sustained serious injuries in a car accident at Adkar near Sullia on January 18, Saturday midnight.

The deceased is Samshuddin. It is learnt, he was returning home after participating in a Mehendi function held at Kadikadka. As his car neared Adkar Vinobhanagar, it rolled into a gorge. Samshuddin along with Tajuddin and Basheer who were in the car had sustained serious injuries.

Local residents came to know about the accident almost two hours later. By then Samshuddin had lost his life. Two other injured persons have been shifted to a hospital in Mangalore.

It is learnt, Samshuddin was running a chicken stall at Ajjavara.
