State govt has failed in tackling Covid pandemic: KPCC Working President Saleem Ahmed

Mangaluru, September 13, 2020: KPCC Working President Saleem Ahmed has accused the BJP government of the state of complete failure in handling the Covid-19 situation in the state.

Speaking to reporters at the District Congress Office on September 13, Sunday, he also expressed alarm at the extent of spread of the pandemic across the state and accused the state ministers of complete lack of co-ordination in dealing with the issue.

He said the BJP government in the state has not yet responded to the Congress allegation of a Rs 2,000 crore scam in the purchase of Covid supplies.

He said the party will raise all burning issues like Covid and drugs menace during the upcoming Assembly session.

Several party leaders including MLA U T Khader, former MLC Ivan D’Souza were present at the press meet.
