Saffron outfits protest against ‘anti-Hindu’ policies of Congress Govt

Mangalore, May 13, 2014:  The Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) along with other like-minded organisations  held a protest in  front of the DC office in the city on May 12, Monday to condemn the ‘anti-Hindu’ policies of the  Congress Government. The protestors earlier took out a rally from Jyothi Circle to DC office.

 

Addressing the protestors,   Niket Raj of Yuva Bharat  slammed the Congress government for its policies, which he said were detrimental to the interests of the Hindu community.

He was also critical of Health Minister UT Khader over the BDA site allotment row and Youth Affairs Minister for allegedly threatening a hournalist.

Referring to the Shringeri shoot-out case, he said police should  initiate tough action against cattle smugglers without fear or favour.

Hindu Jagarana Vedike leader Satyajit Suratkal who also spoke, said   Hindu youths were  fixed in false cases. He alleged that a Hindu youth who threw cow dung at a social activist has been booked under Section 307 while the toll plaza vandalizers were not dealt with the same seriousness.

Manohar Tulajaram, MB Puranik and others participated in the protest.
