Puttur: Lorry rams woman to death, locals pelt stones

Puttur June 15, 2016: In a tragic incident when a speeding lorry rammed woman to death at Golithottu today Wednesday June 15.
Deceased has been identified as Janaki (35) resident of Konalu. It is said that Lorry was on the way to Mangaluru from Uppinangady. When the lorry reached Golithottu it banged Janaki who was walking on the road where she died on spot, driver of the lorry able to flee from the spot.
Angry locals irked and pelted stones at the lorry . Case has been registered in Puttur Police Station
