President Pranab Mukerjee gets a cordial welcome at Mangalore

Mangalore, July 18, 2014: President Pranab Mukerjee was accorded a warm welcome on arrival at the Mangalore International Airport here on Friday, July 18. B Ramanath Rai, minister for forest & DK District In-charge Minister and Mayor Mahabala Marla greeted the President.

President Mukherjee arrived at the airport by a special Air force flight en route to Kasargod to attend the first convocation of the Central University of Kerala at Kasaragod. He will also inaugurate the platinum jubilee celebrations of the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram.

Deputy commissioner A B Ibrahim and Police commissioner R Hitendra were also present on the occasion.
