Mangalore, April 11, 2014 : The JD(S) has come under fire from Pranavananda Swami, President of Bharath Kranthi Sena for entering into a pre-electoral alliance with the Social Democratic Party of India.
Speaking to media on April 11, Friday, he described the SDPI as a “terrorist” party and alleged that it had links with the dreaded terrorists Yasin and Riyaz Bhatkal.
Pranavananda further urged that JD(S) leaders including its President Deve Gowda, HD Kumaraswamy and others should give an explanation regarding the alliance.
He also charged Udupi District JD(S) Chief Deviprasad Shetty of meeting PDP leader Abdul Naser Madani. Shetty had even demanded Madani’s release, Pranavananda said.
He further charged veteran writer UR Ananthamurthy of spreading false rumours about Narendra Modi.
Referring to the Kodikere issue wherein corporator Pratibha Kulai was allegedly sexually harassed, the Bharath Kranthi Sena Chief said local MLA Moidin Bava should withdraw his statement on Kodikere.
