Mangaluru, Mar 20, 2024: Police have seized 1.4441 kg of drugs worth around Rs 3 lakhs while the excise officials have seized 11.64 litres of liquor worth Rs 5760 after the model code of conduct has been enforced in the wake of upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Authorities have also removed 249 posters and 859 banners while enforcing the code of conduct.
The district has 72 flying squads, 69 static surveillance team and eight excise teams to enforce the model code of conduct.
