Pejawar seer to visit Ullal along with Hindu swamijis today

Mangalore, Feb 13, 2014: Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt has said that he along with other swamijis will be visiting Ulllal on February 13. Thursday evening at 4 pm to reassure the people of Ullal and instill confidence in them, in the backdrop of the recent disturbances that rocked the area.
The Pejawar seer said so after participating in a meeting of religious heads at Sanghaniketan in the city on February 12, Wednesday. The seer further said “ The Ullal incident has created an atmosphere of ear. Hindu women face a sense of insecurity here. Several complaints have been of no futile, Even the government has not considered it seriously.”
He said his Ullal visit aims at promoting harmony between people of the majority and minority community.
