Udupi, May 23, 2014: Congress Rajya Sabha member Oscar Fernandes, hailing from Udupi said here, that he challenges the BJP government to retrieve India black money hoarded in Swiss banks in 18 days and take on inflation in the Country.
Media reports say after attending a Congree party meeting here om May 21, the former Union Minister and key Congress leader close to the High command, said that people have high expectations of the new Govt.
He challenged the BJP government to get the black money back to India and use for good of the people, it is doubtful whether the BJP can keep its promise to the people. He said, “The BJP has promised Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. Past experience proves, BJP leaders forget their promise on Ram Mandir when they come to power.
There is no need of surgery to the State government.” He lamented that voters did not understand the pro-people governance of the Congress and populist rhetoric is the order of the day in India.
