One arrested inconnection with FB posts on Kateel goddess

Mangaluru, Oct 10, 2016: Police detain one person at Mangaluru International Airport on October 09 Sunday, inconnection with derogatory posts on Facebook about Hindu goddess Kateel Sri Durga Parameshwari and other gods.

arrest Shariff Bellare is the person arrested. We may be recalled this had enraged the people, various Hindu or oganizations had held protests demanding stern action against the offenders too. The government has taken the case seriously in providing all and any necessary logistical help to the city police in solving the case. Lookout notice had been issued for Shaffi’s arrest.

The police on information took him to custody at MIA as he alighted from Bahrain flight. He is being interrogated and investigations are under progress.

There should be a limit for everything. Social media has two faces good and bad . we shouldn’t comment on any religion hurting their feelings which creates a counter comment over it making situation worst .
