Nudisiri Commences on November 6

The annual Alva’s Nudisiri, a Kannada literary convention lasting for 3 days, will be organized at Moodubidri. The convention, which will commence on November 6, is the sixth such event organized by Alva’s Education Foundation.

Carnatic Classical Music Competition in Mangalore

Mangalore’s prominent cultural associations, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Sangeetha Parishad will be organizing a Carnatic classical music competition in Mangalore on October 25. The competition will have a junior category for talented children below the age of 15 and a senior category for those in the age group of 16 – 25.

Residents of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Kasargod districts are invited to participate in the competition. Three winners will be selected; and the awards will be given away on the occasion of Sangeethotsava, which will be organized between November 26 and 29.
