Missing Pamboor girl returns, allegedly kidnapped

Udupi, Feb 23, 2015:  It was reported Kallamma (15), d/o  Swamy and Shailini (15), d/o Krishnappa, went missing on Tuesday February 17 from Dharmashree Colony, Pamboor.  Kallamma returned home Feb 23, morning, while Shailini’s whereabouts are still not known.  Lallamma was reportedly kidnapped at Pamboor under Shirva police station limits returned home on the morning of Monday February 23, the other girl remains missing.

A visibly  nervous Kallamma reportedly said,  she and Shailini were taken in a car on February 17 landing in Mysuru. She managed to escape from the clutches of the kidnappers and with help of people, she was able to get bus ticket.  She has reached her home. She was not aware what had happened to Shailini.  The police have taken her for inquiry, and search for other girl is on.

Raghavendra, a suspect in the case is missing. Raghavendra doing masonry work for one Nagaraj had grown friendly with the girls. His disappearance  at the same time as the girls going missing is suspicions. Fear of law, made Nagaraj and his wife to lock their house and leave town, but return later. It is reported  that Nagaraj too has been taken for inquiry.  Investigations are vigorously on.
