Mangalore,  May 23, 2014:  Shree Subhundendra Theertha Swamiji, the Pontiff of the Mantralaya Shree Raghavendra Swami Mutt was  conferred a civic reception  at a function held at Town Hall in the city on May 22, Thursday on the occasion of his maiden visit to the city.

Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr. D Veerendra Heggade felicitated the seer on behalf of the public on the occasion. Shree Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji of Pejawar Mutt, blessed the occasion.

Erya Lakshminarayana Alva, writer, M.B.Puranik, Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President and others were present.

Prior to the function, the seer was brought to the function venue in a colourful procession.
