Mangalore police conducts mock drill to check security preparedness

Mangalore, October 28: On Thursday morning, the Mangalore City Police conducted a mock drill to check the preparedness and response time of the officials to such terror attack like situations in future.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The drill was conducted at many check posts like Thokkottu, Surathkal which are considered as sensitive places.

 

Speaking to Mangaloretoday, Ullal police said that: “The mock drill is aimed to check the response time and reaction of the police officials after the terror attacks in coastal district.”

 

“We chose Thokkottu junction as it is very crowded during the morning hours and such places are often chosen for such terror attacks,” they said.
