Mangalore: Muhurtham of Tulu movie ‘Chaali Polilu’ held

Mangalore, March 9, 2014: The  Muhurtham of  a new Tulu movie ‘Chaali Polilu’  being brought out under the banner Jayakirana Films was held at the Pandeshwar Government Higher Primary School premises on March 9, Sunday.

Manohar Prasad, Chief of Mangalore Bureau of Udayavani inaugurated the function and said a golden era in the field of Tulu filmdom has been opened in the recent times with a lot of Tulu films coming up.

 

 

 

 

Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP who was the chief guest  hoped that the new movie would come out    beautifully and  be a success. He also said  Tulu films contribute to the promotion of Tulu language and culture.

V Manohar, Music Director, Chandrahas Rai B, Assistant Director of Department of Kannada and culture,  Sudhaker  Bannanje,  Vijaykumar Kodialbail and Devadas Kapikad, noted theatrical personalities were present as chief guests.

Prakash Pandeshwar, producer, Jagannath Shetty Bala, co-producer and Veerendra Shetty Kavoor, author and screenplay writer of the film were present.   Utpal V Nayanar is the cinematographer while the  dance sequences will be choreographed by Madan-Harini.
