Man gets good thrashing for misbehaving with woman in public

Udupi, May 23, 2014 : A middle aged man who misbehaved with a woman  in public was thrashed black and blue by the public in the city on May 22, Thursday.

 

 

The incident took place when a woman   was waiting at the bus stop in front of the Udupi TMC office  for her husband who had gone to a nearby medical store. The accused who is said to be from Bailur in Karkala, taking advantage of the situation began to misbehave with the woman by loitering around her.

The woman who was irked with his behaviour informed the matter to her husband. By the time, public gathered around and gave him a good thrashing. He was later handed over to the police.

It is said the man was giving vague replies and there is a suspicion that he along with a few accomplices of his was also even involved in some thefts.
