Mangalore, May 31, 2014:  KL Ashok, State Secretary of the Karnataka Komu Sauharda Vedike, has alleged that MLAs Sunil Kumar and CT Ravi who have been defending the killing of Kabeer  by ANF personnel Naveen Naik at Shringeri,  are unfit to be MLAs. He also demanded the immediate arrest of the two leaders under the People’s Representation Act.

Addressing a protest organised by the Vedike and other organisations in front of the DC office on May 30, Friday, Ashok further alleged that “Kabeer was killed in a deliberate act which was a joint operation between the ANF and the Sangh Parivar.”

He further strongly resented the statement of Karkala MLA that ‘Hundreds of Naveen Nails should be born.’

Making a strong case for the arrest all politicians who make hate speeches, Ashok alleged that ministers who represent the district in the cabinet have failed to act against those who deliver hate speeches.

“The cow dung attack on our leader has not deterred us and we will continue our fight against fascism,” Ashok said and Mohammed Kunhi, state Joint Secretary of Jamaath-e-Islami,  Fr William Martis from Udupi, Shafi Bellare,  President of Puttur unit of PFI, Ali Hasan, President of Mutton Traders Association and others spoke on the occasion.

Earlier, a rally was taken out from Ambedkar Circle to DC office.
