Kundapur: Youth killed in bike accident near Kodi

Kundapur, Oct 16, 2023: On Sunday evening near Kanyana Anganwadi in Kodi, a tragic head-on collision involving three motorcycles claimed the life of a young man. The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Ravindra Poojary, a resident of Parampalli, and the owner of a two-wheeler garage near Kota Moorukai.
This unfortunate incident transpired when two motorcycles, traveling from Kodi Kanyana towards Parampalli, collided with a motorcycle approaching from Parampalli. Complicating the situation, a car had been improperly parked without warning signals alongside the road, obstructing the visibility of the motorcyclists. The collision resulted in severe injuries to the motorcycle riders and caused damage to the parked car.
Two other individuals, identified as Charan and Prashanth, also sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment at the hospital.
The incident has been reported to the Kota Police station and is currently under investigation.
