Belthangady, Feb 23, 2014: State Health and Family Welfare Minister UT Khader has said that the formal education imparted to students cannot be complete without moral education.
He was speaking after distributing prizes to students to DK and Udupi districts who won in various contests based on Jnanavidhi and Jananasudhe moral books, on February 22, Saturday. The function was held at the Dharmasthala’s Mahotsava Auditorium under the aegis of Shanthivana Trust, Shree Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Yoga and Moral Education Scheme and Public Education Department.
Khader further said the greatest contribution which we can make to the nation is by moulding our children into responsible citizens of the land.
Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala who presided over the function said children should be enlightened on the fact that knowledge is supreme and not wealth.
