Kasargod, May 17, 2014 : In a major breakthrough, Kasargod police have arrested two inter-state thieves wanted in connection with several cases of not only valuables and vehicles, but also animals including goats.
Interrogations of the duo have revealed that they have stolen as many as 3000 goats and other animals and sold the same.
The arrested are Naushad (21) of Seetangoli and Nasir (20) of Kumble Bambrana. Police said they had stolen vehicles including four-wheelers from Nellikatte, Kannappadi, Arikkadi, Ukkinadka Mangalore, and other places.
It is learnt they had also stolen LPG cylinders from many Anganavadis. They were also wanted in connection with chain snatching cases at Puttur in Karnataka and in Naikapu.
