Kasargod: MBA student commits self-immolation

Kasargod, Jan 14, 2014: In a shocking incident, an MBA student has committed self-immolation after dousing herself with petrol on January 13, Monday morning at Bedadka here.

The deceased is Sunisha (20), wife of Ratish Babu of Munnad Kollapana. She was a first year MBA student of Munnad Institute of Management Studies.

Sunitha’s husband who worked overseas had returned hometown just a month ago. In fact Sunitha had actively participated in a personality development camp for MBA students during the weekend and had then returned home with her husband.

It is learnt, she resorted to the extreme step when her husband was away in the fields. The two were married four years ago. The exact cause of her suicide is not known.

Adoor police are conducting the investigations.

The number of suicides is too much! This case seems really peculiar though!
