Journalist Ashok Bagambila passes away

Mangalore, July 6, 2014 : Journalist Ashok Bagambila (46) breathed his last at a private hospital at Derlakatte on July 5, Saturday. He leaves behind his wife, a daughter and innumerous admirers.
Ashok who worked for various dailies and news channels since the past two decades also had served the Hosa Digantha daily in Bangalore and Police News magazine. He was also a part of the Crime Story programme aired by Udaya TV and was also running a weekly named Crime News.
Ashok was also closely associated with the Kannada and Tulu film industry. He was suffering from acute diabetes and was admitted to the Derlakatte hospital a few days ago. He failed to respond to treatment and breathed his last.
Several Tulu theatre personalities including Devadas Kapikad, Vijaykumar Kodialbail and others have condoled the demise of Ashok Bagambila.
