Hosabettu Corporator Pratibha accuses Palemar of shielding criminals

Mangalore, Apr 3, 2014: Pratibha Kulai, the Congress corporator of Hosabettu ward has said that former MLA Krishna Palemar has tried to protect the seven people who  abused and threatened her recently. It is learnt, the corporator was mobbed by around 30 people in Kodikere and was threatened.

The corporator said the accused are habitual offenders and criminals and  threatened her while she was campaigning in Kodikere. She said though a complaint was filed against seven people, the former MLA  tried to shield them after claiming that they were innocent.

The corporator said she had records to prove that the accused  have a criminal background and were involved in murder and other cases in the past. “ Even a delinquent is one among the accused,” the corporator claimed.

She said the accused have challenged her to take the truth test before Pili Chamundi Daiva and added that  she was  ready to take the truth test if even the accused are ready to come there.

Pratibha said the accused had even in the past tried to harass her by trying to overtake her car.

 Mangalore North MLA Moidin Bava also charged the former MLA Palemar of promoting ‘goondaism.’
