Hindu outfits stage protest ; ask Khader to quit over BDA site scam

Mangalore, Mar 29, 2014 : A demonstration was staged in front of the DC office in the city on March 28, Friday by the VHP to strongly condemn the recent BDA site case wherein the State health Minister UT Khader has been accused of misusing power to allot a BDA site to his brother’s UT Nasima Fareed Memorial Education Trust.

The Hindu outfits argued that the site located in Banashankeri 6th Stage, 4th Block ought to have been sanctioned to the Shree Kukke Subrahmanya Temple Trust which intended to set up an Information Centre there.

The protestors also demanded the resignation of Khader over the issue and also urged for steps to see that the land be allotted to the Temple Trust.

Gopal Kuttar, Manohar Tulajaram, Bhujanga Kulal and others participated in the protest.
