Group clash at Faisalnagar; houses, vehicles stoned

Mangaluru, Jan 18, 2016: A few houses and vehicles were damaged in stone pelting incidents following a clash between two groups at Faisalnagar near Padil late night on January 17, Sunday. A fight between some people under the influence of alcohol near thePadil railway crossing is said to be the reason for the clash.
Meanwhile, rumours are also afloat that an elderly woman was injured and a man was stabbed during the clashes.
Rural police who rushed to the spot hav e brought the situation under control. Details are awaited.
