Former Olympian Mrs. Shiny Wilson chosen for Rotary Vandana Award

Mangaluru, Mar 25, 2024: Padmashree Awardee and Arjuna Awardee Former Olympian Mrs. Shiny Wilson (Abraham) has been chosen for the prestigious State Level Rotary Annual “Vandana Award - 2024” in recognition of her invaluable contributions and lifetime achivements in the field of National and International Athletics.

 

 

The award is jointly instituted by Rotary Club of Mangalore Central and Rotaract Club of Mangalore City, which will be conferred on Mrs. Shiny Wilson (Abraham) in appreciation of her exemplary achievements in the field of National and International Athletics. The award comprises of a citation, plaque and memento.

Dr. A. Sadananda Shetty, President, Shree Devi Education Trust, Mangaluru will grace the occasion as Chief Guest and will felicitate the Awardee in a function to be held on Friday, 29.03.2024 at 08.00 pm at Hotel Moti Mahal, Mangaluru.

President of Rotary Club of Mangalore Central Rtn. Rajesh Shetty will preside over the function. Rtr. Rahul Acharya, RID 3181 District Rotaract Representative 2023-24 will be the guest of honour on this occasion.

Rotary Club and Rotaract club annually confer their prestigious  Vandana Award to the exemplary achievers in the fields of sports, literature, Industry, business, Banking, Music, Medical Science, Engineering, Art, Culture and community Service as a part of their Vocational Service projects, revealed by Award Selection Committee Chairman Rtn.
