Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Ashwath Narayan visit Ideal Ice Cream Parlour

Mangaluru,Nov. 01: Dr. Ashwath Narayan, Deputy Chief Minister, Karnataka visited Ideal Ice Cream Parlour in his recent visit to Mangaluru on Thursday, October31, 2019.  He was in the city to Inaugurate IMA Board Committee 2019-20.

Savouring ‘Gadbad’ , he was enthusiastic talking about his regular visit to ‘Ideal’ during his college days. He has tasted the latest additions Marzi Paan and iPizza also. Going down memory lane, he said he and his friends would visit Ideal at least once in a week in those days. During the graduation days at St Aloysius College, bunking classes and meeting friends from other colleges, going for cinema and chatting at Ideal was usual practice. ‘Gadbad’ was their favourite at Ideal he said.

Talking to Mukund Kamath and Prabhakar Kamath, he wondered how they have maintained their standard even after so many years.  During his studies at KMC, Mangalore, the cafeteria did not have Ideal Ice Cream and they had to persuade the management to stock the ice cream.  However most of Medical students visited Ideal Ice cream Parlour not only to eat Ice creams but also to meet and gossip.  Well, those were the days!

Dr Ashawath Narayan, came to Ice Cream Parlour along with Mangalore North MLA Dr Bharath Shetty, Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik, Dr Shivasharan and other friends. Ideal Ice Cream founder,  Prabhakar Kamath and Mukund Kamath were the host for the special guest.
